About Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation
The Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation is a State claimed Public Sector Company enrolled under the Companies Act 1956. This company was enrolled under segment 8 of the Companies Act 2013 in the name “TAMIL NADU CIVIL SUPPLIES CORPORATION” w.e.f. 01.04.2010. It acquires, stock and conveys fundamental products for PDS, Spl.PDS and Noon Meal Program. The Corporation works departmental stores as a market intercession measure to control the costs of fundamental products like rice, dhal, vegetables like onion, tomato and so forth, in the open market. The Corporation has been the nodal office for the acquirement of Fan, Mixie and Grinder, a leadership program of the Government.
Hon’ble Minister for nourishment and Civil Supplies is the Chairman of the Board of directors of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation. The Managing Director takes care of the everyday organization of the Corporation. The Corporation has 33 Regions, Each Revenue District agrees with one Region aside from Chennai. Chennai is bifurcated as the North and South Region to cook the requirements of individuals.
